Macro Friendly HEARTY Sunday Roast (SUB 500kcals!)


What you'll need: (per serving)

150g Chicken breast (carved from bird)

200g Maris piper potatoes

5g Goose fat

50g Paxo stuffing

1x Yorkshire Pudding

50g Tender stem broccoli

Bisto gravy

Other Veg of choice


Prep time - 60 - 70 mins


Method

  1. Firstly, preheat oven to 180c, once up to temperature put your chicken in & set a timer for 20 mins. The chicken will need 70-80 mins in total

  2. At this point you can prep your potatoes. Peel and chop into chunks

  3. Boil potatoes for 7 mins, then drain, put back in the pot and give them a good shake 2-3 times

  4. At this point, add your goose fat to a Pyrex baking dish and chuck that in the oven for 3-5 mins

  5. Once your 20 minute timer goes, add your potatoes to the Pyrex stir and put back in the oven, bake for 35-40 mins setting a timer every 10 mins to give them a turn.

  6. After the first 10 min timer goes, prepare stuffing

  7. When there's 25 minutes left, add your stuffing to a baking tray and set a timer for 20 mins

  8. On the last 5 mins, prep your broccoli and gravy as well as chucking your yorkshire pudding in the oven

  9. Remove everything from oven, and enjoy a perfectly timed roast!
